The Associated Body Language Expertise Training Programme (ABLE)

Non-Verbal Behaviour Analyst Level 3

The Associated Body Language Expertise Training Programme (ABLE) was developed to address the critical need for security personnel to enhance their observational skills. This programme empowers participants to proactively assess potential threats and take necessary actions to prevent incidents before they occur.

Since its inception in 2002, ABLE has successfully trained professionals across various sectors, including, law enforcement, loss prevention officers, casino and hotel staff, and both governmental and private security personnel in Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Austria, the USA and now the United Kingdom.

The course is fully accredited by Highfield Qualifications and is delivered by TRACELINE Security Ltd in partnership with VENETIS Consulting & Training.

Meet the Developer

Mr. Andreas Venetis, the programme's developer, brings over 30 years of experience in protection services and counselling, along with 23 years of active teaching experience for security professionals across Continents. He expertly combines British and Israeli methodologies in security and protective services. Mr. Venetis is a certified instructor from the Greek Ministry of Education for adult education in security-related topics, a certified instructor by MA1 International Israel, a certified instructor for adults by AOFA (UK). Mr. Venetis served as a professor at Intercollege, which is part of the University of Nicosia, specialising in Security Subjects, as well as in Casino and Surveillance courses. In addition to his role at Intercollege, he has also shared his expertise as an instructor at the Police Academy in Greece.

Why Attend the ABLE Level 3 Non-Verbal Behaviour Analyst Course?

The ABLE Training Programme is grounded in scientific methodologies, utilising behavioural and statistical analysis to validate its results. Based on the ‘Socrates Methodology’, trainees learn to observe, study, detect, analyse, and verify suspicious movements under the guidance of experienced trainers. The skills developed through this programme enable security personnel to be more effective in preventing unforeseen events by identifying imminent threats and acting proactively, rather than merely reacting to incidents after they occur.

In 2018, a thesis on the ABLE course was added to the UK National Police Library Catalogue, accessible exclusively to members.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a Level 3 certificate accredited by Highfield Qualifications, recognising their achievement and enhancing their professional credentials.
